Which 28oz balancer for our cars?

I put on the balancer today and found that is was totally wrong. It's the Pro Products 80006 which is apparently for early model engines. My motor is balanced for a 28oz balancer, but I can't seem to find one that isn't hyper expensive. What reasonable options are there in 28oz for our cars?

I thought they were 50oz. I hope so cause I beleive i bought this one when i got my new one...

The original balance on 1982-1995 5.0L Mustang is 50oz, but being your engine has been rebalanced to 28oz, you'll need a damper like this:

Yep, stock is 50oz, so don't worry. That one with the spacer looks like the one I need.

I'd pay the little bit extra for the Pioneer one. I know it's a lot of money, but a balancer is too important to risk on Chinese Junk.

I just need to make sure it's the right depth and has the spacer for the pulley. Do you know what the pioneer part # is? Summit offers Saturday delivery from today, so I wonder if they'd carry the one I need.

I had a Pro Products balancer (Link LRS posted above) on my 347 Stroker. I called Probe and told them I wanted Romac or some other brand. They assured me it was a quality balancer and they wouldn't put them on if it wasn't. Well they were right, it worked well.

I'm fine with with Pro Products one. The build quality is clearly better than stock at least. This isn't an extreme engine. If the builder provided it, I'll trust his judgement.

Anyway, problem solved. I went to the builder today and he said I just needed a spacer which he had in stock. Worked out perfectly

One of the things I learned from Woody is to just make sure it's an elastomer style balancer. O guess these engines don't agree with the fluid style balancers.

Shwew! got scared a lil haha. I'm still a little worried seeing as how I bought the engine built already... I cant tell if there is any extra vibrations cause of solid motor mounts but I dought the guy went to that extreme with this thing. All it has is exploder parts and a decent cam.
