Can you guys let me know which 130 amp alternator and which 200 amp alternators to get? I want new ones, nothing that is rebuilt or remanufactured since I didnt have to much luck with my last one and it only lasted me 2 months. I am planning on buying one tonight so if you guys wouldn't mind telling me which 200 amp one is the best and which 130 amp one is the best and if you could also provide links purchase that alternator.

Thanks a lot,

Dan

Since noone else is helping you out I'll try and help you since I have a 200 amp alternator. I took mine to a local shop and they replaced the entire guts of the alternator. I was all brand new stuff and they warrantied it for three years. You could try that in your area or one of these sites:

They both seem like they would be fine. They seem a little expensive though. I think I paid just under $250 for mine w/ tax and everything included. Once you do it I would upgrade the wiring as well. Also remember that upgrading your grounds is as important as power wires. Here's a link to my wiring upgrades (Just forget anything related to the extra battery):

I don't remember. I have a few cars so I just pulled all the old wires off, took another car to the stereo shop and had each cut to the same length. I would go to the car with a tape measure and estimate. Then order off the amount you need with a few feet extra off ebay. It's much cheaper. Don't forget you need connectors too.
