I don't want anything that will create any engine problems, and I don't want to spend over ~$300. What CAI should I go with to get the best bang for my buck..??
Curious why you mention that? My intent is to get a throatier growl out of my exhuast. More HP and throttle response, if any, are a side benefit in my opinion.

You can remove the air silencer to open up that inlet and make the noise you're looking for. The OEM system is ALREADY cold air. As for HP and throttle response... Pipe dream and advertising for stock or near stock motors.
