curentl setup- 289, afr 165,c4, "3000" stall converter(more like 2400), 3.07 out back, bbk shorties 2.5 mandrel bent exhaust,road demon 625, afr suplied valve spring and 1.6 roller magnum rockers(stockrod bolts, don't wanna go past 6250rpm).
with isky 280 mega camshaft

the thing is a turd till about 3500 rpm or 30 mph. best quarter is 14.3 at 101.8 mph. 35 degrees total timing. no tire spin.

Either of the 268 degree cams will work best with those 3.07 gears out back. Thats the main reason it's sluggish down low, not the cam. If you've got a single plane intake, that'll be another factor.
