I was talking about HP ratings dude (And yes, I know that the Mach Dyno's higher than it's rated...so don't bother pointing that out) I know the engines are different.

I only said that because you said the engines were similar and now your saying the engines are different. YOu gotta make up your mind.

I've been away from Stangnet for awhile hehe...

I thought there was this whole big stink from 00 R owners because the 03 outdid the 00 in every way?

Well, although I HATE mag articles comparing cars, I will use the Jan 04 issue of 5.0 Mustang. They compare the 00 R and 03 Cobra:

0-60: 4.9 (03 Cobra) 4.7 (00 R)
1/4: 13.0@110 (03 Cobra) 12.9@111 (00 R)
Braking 100-0: 341ft. (03 Cobra) 328ft. (00 R)
Handling Slalom: 64mph (03 Cobra) 69mph (00 R)

Although whoever drove those cars needs to be fired Thats a comparison. They also mention that Motor Trend tested both cars a while back and got the opposite results
