I got a convertible top for Christmas with a plastic window which I have just sold on the ebay. I wanted a top with a glass window because they are better in both looks and function.
So, where should I get a new convertible top for my 73 from? Keep in mind that I am crazy and wish to install the top myself.
I'm kinda thinking about getting one from these guys http://www.convertibletopguys.com/cgi-local/displaycat.cgi?cat=387
Probably this one CONV-462-GC.SPECIAL since it comes with installation extras, tack strips and stuff. Oh and instructions.
Hum, I didn't know they made canvas tops.

I have a Haartz Stayfast top that is ready to go on my car once it is painted. It give the car a much more modern look and very sexy IMHO. It looks similiar to the modern cars. If you have a restomod or want a more updated look I say go Cloth/Canvas. If you want the original look go the traditional vinyl top. I purcahsed mine through these people. https://www.topsonline.com//
The service was great and shipping was very reasonable.
