Ok,

I have a hit a fork in the road project wise. I have the following mods in my baby:

Heres my mod list:

-Wynnespeed Racing 302 Sportsman Block
-AFR 165's Alum Heads
-Diamond Pistons
-Custom Comp cam
-Edelbrock Performer Air Gap intake
-Holley 675 cfm street avenger carb
-3:73 gears (ford motorsport)
-Edelbrock victor water pump
-BBK shortys
-BBK x-pipe
-Full Aeromotive fuel system
-MSD (Distributor, coil, plug wires) with Mallory digital ignition
-Underdrive pullys
-17x9 chrome cobra R's with Khumo ecxsta supras -245x45x17's-
-Tremec TKO 600
-Pro 5.0 Shifter
-Spec stage 3 clutch
-Blue Oval Industries upper/lower control arms and subframe connectors
-Torque Boxes
-Diamond Projection headlights
-Tokico shocks and struts
-Eibach Sportline lowering springs
-Summit racing seats
-100% break replacement
-Misc stereo stuff

(I know I am forgetting some things here and there)

Anyways- the last thing it needs (well not needs, but I want to view completed) is a fresh paint job.

Anyways...I am at the turning point like I said. Do I *complete* my project and start a new one or do I continue to the next step.

The next step for me would be a Procharger/Intercooler setup and a 5 lug conversion w/baer brakes and FR500 rims.

If I was to "move on" to another project it would be a 93 RX7 which would slowly turn into a 20B motor with a single turbo conversion.

I currently dont have all the money for either of the above options but its something that I want to strive to save for.

What would you guys do? Obviously the RX7 would be a long term project...definitly something that would not happen over night. I am patient lol I have owned my stang for 7 years and its just now got to where it is.

LS1= Chevy...no way. Rotary motors facinate me and I want play around with them. I dont want to have another american car. I would really like to check out the higher import class.

LOL. I would not be "going to imports" and I would NEVER sell my mustang. I just like higher end imports (RX7's, skylines, supras) and would like to screw around with one.

Since when is an RX-7 a "higher end import"? Most of them I see around here anymore are beat-up ***** boxes. To me, "higher end import" is Audi TT or A6, Porsche Carrera, Infiniti G35 or something like that.

Do what you want to do, but no Mustang is ever "finished". I'd be continuing with the blower and suspension upgrades if it was me.

Think about this: How often do you get stopped by someone that says "Nice car man!" or get a thumbs up on the freeway? I got three on one twenty mile drive last week alone. Think that'll happen in an RX-7?

Your right, I am leaning the "finish the mustang" way. I guess I just need to decide which one to do first. I guess I should probably concentrate on the blower. The only thing that is semi difficult is that I am carb'd so I am told that a blow-thru setup is required so I am looking into that.

Theres a video on streetfire i think that has a LS-x engine swapped into a Datsun 280z...needless to say traction is an issue.

RX7's are beautioful cars, whenever I see one on the street that you know isnt stock but it looks stock, my eyes follow it driving by, youll get "nice car man!" but itll be from the import crowd whitch consists of mostly ignorant kids, or mexicans, not saying those are the only import people, those are just the only people who will see it. I personally would love to have an rx7 especially with a 20B motor, that would be INSANE. But it would be the biggest money pit you could ever buy, not sure if you know how to work on rotaries, if you dont, I hope you know someone who does or labor will be a BITCH. RX7's are definatly one of my favorite cars though, I got owned by a 2nd gen the other day on the highway, had no hood and crhome pipes poping out of the engine bay, and the loudest bov ive ever heard, once again ill just say I got owned.

I saw a clean stock looking rx7 and I followed it with my eyes too. It was on an on ramp and I could hear it accelerating then I heard the BOV... wow.

You know what I have decided to stick with the stang for now. I am not going to do any other projects any time soon. I am not going to plan any other projects until I have everything that I want to do to my stang done.

The "next" list: (in order)

-Procharger D1sc w/intercooler (hopefully this winter)
-Paint (with my tax money) w/steeda wing
-5 Lug Conversion with FR500's chrome
-Tubular front end conversion
-Baer Break conversion

So basically another 10 grand lol. I dont care though it makes me happy. I just worry about the boost on my motor thats all. Once I get all the above done I will probably start working on another block or something rediculously strong and then take all my bolt ons and throw it on the new block so I can run high psi with that blower.
