which ecu pin to wire up C.E.L on 87 mustang

i have a 87 5.0 speed density mustang. the harness was all messsed up, so my check engine light doesn't work. how can i wire up a external check engine light using a 2prong small led light? which ecu pin is the power(feed), and which is the ground? or does any body have a better way for me to wire up a CEL? PLEASE HELP!!!!!

i search the site and came up with nothing. dont need any1 to do homework for me but can someone show me when i can get a diagram or know how i can wire this up.

SD stangs dont come with a functional CEL. The spot is there but it doesnt get a signal.

If you desire wiring one up when doing a MAF conversion, see number 7 in this article.

There is a way to add one to a SD stang, so I've read, but I cant find the info right now.
