I'm getting some white faced gagues for my mustang through www.speedhut.com but dont know which setup looks better.

i dont know if the EL Glow or the Reverse glow looks better

the first set is with the cobras on the tach and speedo: i like this one because it looks like the Auto Meter Shelby Signiture Series Gauges.

1:

2:

the second set is with the SVT logo on the tach and speedo: this one looks more like a stock 2003 cobra gauge cluster.

3:

4:

Which one looks the better?

I'm kind of leaning towards Num. 3 but i need opinions.

thanks

i like all of them, but

a.) you dont have a cobra
b.) you dont have an SVT GT

so with the above forementioned, why not go with a Ford Racing logo? or a stang logo? Or something custom?

I don't like those indiglo things. They're just an eyesore at night I think. I vote for 2 or 4

I like 3, but I've never driven with the reverse glows, I think it may be a bit bright for my taste

the cobras look kinda goofy so thats why I'm saying svt.. otherwise go with no logo?

Aren't those gauges backwards. The mph should be on the other side.

Yeah i agree, forget about the cobra and the SVT ****. Your car can be fast and not a cobra, it has been known to happen. Also i noticed there is a 9,000rpm tac on there. How is your needle gonna be calibrated to work with that?

im sure the real gauges wont have a 9000rpm tach. its just like that to show you an example of what the gauges look like at night and with the graphics.

That is just how there website is set up. They come just like our stock ones. I have a set of the speedhut ones. That's just to get you an idea of what it will look like.

I used to have a indiglo stereo, and when I was driving at night, I would have to throw a towel or shirt over the stereo so the damn light would be covered.

I personally like our stock gauges. If the background light was a halogen white(bluish white) instead of the stock blue, then I think that would be really awesome. I saw that on a lexus, and I actually liked it.

thanks for you replys.

i'm doing a mild cobra conversion to my car and think the svt or cobra would be a nice touch.

Those pictures is what speedhut uses to show you how they would look like with the options you choose. it didnt really notice the tach goes to 9000 rpm or that the speedo and tach are reversed.

i'm doing a mild cobra conversion and thought that the svt or cobra would leave a nice touch.

Mackey- i like those gauges. i saw your post on how you installed them and i was going to get them and the price is less then half of the speedhut. but i live in canada and i'd rather have my KM/H on the outside rather then the inside. i email the guy who sells them but havent gotten a reply.

i'm either going with plain or the svt on the tach only. dont know yet

You need to add some coolant to that thing.
