That is the key, any rotational weight you can take off the faster you will be. This is the reason racerts spend $200 on titianium wheels studs, it's worth 1.5 punds per tire, lightened spools, lightened gear sets, alum or carbon fiber driveshafts, alum clutches, alum flywheels...it all adds up and does make a difference in HP and ET.

what is a good "neutral" balance harmonic balancer? all the ones i see have counterweights of 28oz or 50oz. my machinest said get a 50oz?

Like I said I use the Pioneers and the Romacs, both are available in "0" or Internal balance.

Make sure you tell your machiniest you want an internal balance motor, other wise that Eagle Internal Balance crank will look like a piece of swiss cheese. The crank with the H-beam rod and pistons will only need to have weight removed to go "0", no mallory will be needed it should cost you anything extra.
