Ok, I have to replace the rearend because its a 7.5. I'm getting an 8.8, and I'm installing axles, and Auburn, but what gears should I get? Its a supercharged 342 so it makes plenty of power. I like the idea of having a crazy high topspeed, but I'm also going to be drag racing alot. I dont think I need a lot of gear due to the current engine setup. I'm thinking of getting 3.23's. Alot of you may think that is high, but again I want to be able to run with all the fast cars on the highway, and the Tremecs have a pretty good first gear to help pull off the line. My overdrive is .68, so that with high gears could give me a top speed over 150mph.

3:27, but if you can handle losing some highway speed I would go with the 3:55 FMS gears!

3.55 would be my choice with your setup but will you have too much wheel spin?? If you can hook it up 3.55 is the way to go IMHO!

Yea 3.55 sounds like a good gear for your setup.
