I have a 2003 gt mods are in sig. What style of cold air intake would do the best in the lower end, Fender mounted or one in the engine bay like the mac straight shot? I know there is not much of a gain with CAI"S . I just dont want to have a low end loss . What do you guys think?

Whichever u decide to get really shouldn't make a difference. I would get fenderwell just because its proven that it is cooler down there instead of in your engine bay. Biggest thing with a CAI is to make sure you get a plastic CAI and not chrome.

As you said "there is not much of a gain with CAI"S" so either way, you won't see a difference on the dyno...
Just for the look maybe...
