Which headers will bolt on to a 65 gt fastback with a 289 engine with absolutely no modifications to the headers or the car or engine? It has manual steering and it has a toploader 4 speed transmission. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me with this.

I was just looking in JEGS catalog and checking out headers for my car!
Headman Elite coated headers look pretty nice, abody have them on their Stang? Are they any good? I Have 65 2+2 289 4v 4-Speed

I have Coated Hedman Torque-steps I will be putting on soon. The guy told me that I will have no problems insalling... I'll let you know the outcome.

I'm using the "good 'ol tri-y's" and I had no issues installing them. I had them ceramic coated black to look stock and they were installed three years and 35,000 miles ago and look great still. Great headers for a couple hundred bucks

Tri-y's Are great for stock to mildly built engines. The fit is probably the best you can get from a header - no ground clearance problems like long tube headers.

My Hooker Comps bolted right in with my T-5 with stock clutch linkage, and I have no complaints or problems whatsoever with them after over 10 years use.
