I am in the midst of building a 347 stroker motor and am wondering which heads to go with. i currently am running a trick flow track heat upper and lower intake manifold and am wondering whether to stick with trick flow and go with teh twisted wedge heads or the afr heads. i know there is a diff in cost with the afr heads being more expensive but want to kwno which ones woudl give me more hp but still making the car streatable. i have ordered an Eagle forged kit and a pretty big cam from comp. pleas respond because i need to order soon. thank you every one

Im using Trick flow heads, never had any problems. Dispite the old rumors about valve angles and oil problems, they have all been fixed years ago. Either or, you cant go wrong, im sure you would go with the afr 185s if u went that route, but AFR are already CNC machined for max cfm flow, while the TFS still have room to grow. Its a personal preference I guess, good luck!

I would also suggest on buying the cam after you figure out which heads you want.

I say go with AFR 185's...and get a custom cam from FTI...Ed carries AFR's in stock...and the cam he will "grind" up for your combo...

AFR heads seem to give the best results and have the best quality. You can't loose with either one.
