I'm favoring the single rise myself too. I think it gives the car a more agressive look while the Cobra R gives it more of a racey look to it, plus everyone has one.

i'm not sure which one would look better with stripes.. maybe somebody could photoshop some on... i'm thinking the lines on the double rise might look better with stripes while the single rise might look a bit off- or i could be thinking backwards

The single rise is classic old school muscle.

I also feel that with an otherwise stock body kit, the R hood would take too much attention away from the rest of the car.

Cobra R.

If the rest of your stang's body is stock, the Cobra R hood blends really nice with the stock body lines. The single rise hood has too sharp of an edge for me, as it doesn't match any other lines on the car. Asthetically, that's my take (round vs. edge).

However, both look nice overall.

Also, different paint colors has different effects on how the hood lines look. Your red color will probably make the sharp edge on the single rise hood less sharp. I think paint color has a big role in the overall look, too.

I say the Cobra R. The single rise cowl hoods look better on foxes.

I still think a saleen hood would look better though.

I like the Cobra R better. The single rise cowl just looks out of place on SN95's.

Also, I find it hard to justify NOT getting something you like because it's common. 95 Cobra R wheels are common, do you think that's gonna stop me from putting them on my car?

The Cervini's 3.5" Cowl has long been my choice but I have blown my money on stupid crap lately. I plan on getting that one sometime after the new year unless they come out with an 03-04 Cobra hood for our cars. Also cowl hoods aren't just for foxes so get ya one Zach.

yeah i vote for the Cobra r hood. like said above, its popular for a reason, because it looks badass on our cars, it was made for the origional cobra. Plus, i agree that the smooth lines compliment the lines on our cars vrs the hard kick, whick looks good on fox car that look like an escort.
