Which intake on my 331??

This engine was built for the street but it will get a little time at the track. It has 11:1 compression a 550 lift at .50 cam with 230 duration. I am running a set of edelbrock performer heads that have had a considerable amount of port work done to them. My question is, should I run the trick flow track heat or go ahead and run the R series?? The R kind of scares me but if it will work I'd love to run it. thanks for the advise.

TFS R

No complaints about the R intake on my 347. That thing is a beast and looks mean to boot. I will never run another intake, bolt it on and you will know where I am coming from.

keep in mind you might have some hood clearance issues when you get into some of these bigger intakes, especially if you run any spacers.

good luck

I have had good luck with my systemax.. I think anything aftermarket will do you just fine.

AFM had an article about different intakes they dyno tested on the same setup and all of them were within 5 or so horse of each other, even the bread box intakes, with the exception of the systemax hehehe...

of coarse not every intake was on there. And im sure with a different setup you would get different results from each, but that gives you an idea though how close they all compare to each other for the most part.
