If your looking for a decent priced set, Id go BBK. I had MAC LT's and was not happy. For a little more I got BBK's and they are excellent! Very happy with them, quality and overall performance. But if you have the money, then go Hooker or get some SLP Ceramic Coated LT's.

Hey didnt see this one, answered in another one of your posts. But I definetly would go BBK! I was not happy at all with my MAC's, many problems and I am not the only one who has felt this way. The BBK's I have are great, and got rid of all my problems. Just by looking at the pipes you can see how much better the quality is. They even put an indentation in one of the pipes for the steering shaft. Engine noise is also a lot better, the MAC's were noisy with there thin walls. The BBK's sound way better, and give me a much better idle. I was jumping around on idle with the MAC's, now my idles perfect again like stock. I have the chrome BBK LT's. If I had more money I would have gone ceramic, but I got a great deal on these along with an O/R H Pipe brand new from someone looking to get rid of them who never installed them, so that was a sweet deal. But yeah just don't go MAC, they dont call it the Walmart of Auto Parts for nothing!

Now remember guys, we're talking about a 1998 GT not an 01+. If there are LTs from Hooker and SLP for a 98 tell me where to find them. I'm lucky if I can find a catted H-pipe for my year.

And thanks for the replies so far. I'm assuming the ceramics run cooler hence better hp gains...?
