Which Lowering Springs Should I Use?

I have a 90 mustang gt convertible would like some advice about lowering springs. What’s everyone using.

I'm interested in this as well, I'd love to improve the handling of my 89 GT. I wouldn't want to lower too much(1-3.5 inches at most), I still want to run some 275s in the rear.

For less than $1000.00 I went with the SVE/KYB lowering spring and shock package, MM panhard bar and weld in frame stiffeners from LMR, made big improvement.

Did you install the mm panhard yourself? If yes, how long did it take you?

It's been three years since my dad and I did it, about 3 or 4 hours as I remember. Follow directions, be sure of drill points in frame. Everything went well except installing front springs will fight.

I went with Eibach pro's, Koni orange shocks and struts and Maximum Motor sports camber plates for just over 800 bucks, happy with the outcome and so was my wallet.

There's a billion ways to do this. I'd probably recommend a set if H&R sport springs with a matched shock/strut...and MM full lenght subframes

Was considering 1.5 to 1.75 drop but thank you for all those helpful suggestions

My car came with some Blue springs from Max Motorsports. It rode like a go cart and handled like one. I changed to FMS B springs for the rake and better ride for the family. It was the right choice for this car.

I love the eibach pro kit. Great ride and ride height. I have Billstein shocks and subframe connectors as well.
