I have a '01 gt. I want to lower it but don't want to sacrifice much ride comfort. I was considering the eibach pro kit. Also do you have to have the caster camber plates with the pro kit? If anyone has pictures with the eibach pro kit please post I woul like to see how low it sits.

Ive got a prokit and love it. You dont have to have the CC plates but I would highly reccomend it. Also the stock shocks and struts wont last a really long time with lowering springs so you might as well get some tokico blues or some bilsteins like I have. Ive also got the Steeda X2 balljoints and bumpsteer kit BTW.

From all the reserch Ive done it seems the Ford Racing B springs will give the best ride but only lower about a half inch. The Eibach Pros IMO are the best. I had them on the Fox and they were great, alot less harsh than the stock springs. My Cobra has the Eibach sportlines, killer stance but the ride is too harsh for me so when I upgrade the shocks I am changing to the Eibach pros. They have a killer shock/strut/pro spring kit for $650 and since its a matched kit I am sure its killer I was gonna get Bilstiens again but they wont honor the "lifetime warrenty" so screw them, I wont ever use them again

You know you'll want caster camber plates for that car anyways so you might as well get them too.

The ride quality is more about your shock selection with the springs that you choose. In other words, don't cheap out on the shocks. My car has the Eibach Sportline springs. It sits lower than the Pro Kit. Hope this helps.

Ive got Steeda sport springs with Strange 10 way adj. shocks/struts. Only complaint I have is that the Strange's are a little noisy. If I had to do it over again, id go w/Eibach drag springs and call it done.
