What site online can i purchase a set of mufflers to weld. I was looking at the magnaflows and was wondering how much they cost? There was a site i was looking at that also have tailpipes to weld in. Anyone knows where i can find tailpipes to weld in?

If you buy the mufflers from the shop they wont screw you on the install. If you bring in your own they may.
I had Magnaflows welded in for $80 each plus install plus new tips. After I was done it cost almost as much as a catback!
I had Dynomax Super Turbos on my 01 and loved them. Maybe more than the Magnaflows and they were $50 each from steeda.com.
Most muffler shops should have tailpipes you can choose from. Chrome is usually the cheapest but can rust. Polished stainless is better but more money.

If you've still got the catted X, get the MagnaFlow MagnaPacks, just hunt around the internet for them. If you've got a catless X, get the regular magnaflows.

Don't go to a brand name shop like Midas or something. Go to the small rinky-dink muffler shops. They'll weld them in for less.
well right now i have the catted bassani x. and i was thinking of the regular magnaflow because i didnt want the car to be too loud, but i dont want it quiet either. Will it be better to get the magnapacks mufflers? I have to have a catted x pipe because of emissions. I will call the mustang shops around here to see what they charge for welding.
I welded in flowmasters and went with the MRT exhaust tips

Magnaflows are too quiet...take look at MAC stainless muffs...they sound great and last forever. (I used to have Magnaflows, kept the pipes, ditched the muffs)
