Which oil pan can I use?

I have a 87 347 going into a 69 mustang. Will a older pan fit or do I need to use the oriiginal Style.

you need a front sump pan, and any front sump 302 based pan will work fine.

I used a 7-qt front sump pan (think it was a Canton) on a 5.0 in a '65. Although it didn't look like it would fit before putting the engine in, it tucked in nicely between the center link and crossmember - fits perfect! The original dual sump pan definitely would not have fit.

Wouldn't this require a different oil pump pick up maybe from a earlier year?

Yup. The pickup has to be matched to the oil pan.

Ford front sump oil pan --> Ford front sump pickup
Canton oil pan --> Canton pickup
