Which oil pan for DSS Main Support?

I have a '91 5.0 with a DSS Main Support. The stock oil pan won't fit because the ARP studs stick up a little too far. DSS sells an oil pan that might fit but they want about $300 for it. Anyone else have this setup and use some other manufacturers oil pan? I'm actually putting this in a '70 Torino convertible. My car has about the same front end as a '70 Mustang so I suspect any front sump pan that would fit it would fit my car as well. I've seen some pans on ebay but it's hard to tell from a photo what would fit.

Would the Canton oil pans fit? I have the D.S.S main support system and I was eye'ing up the canton 7 qt front sump kit. DSS says that a stock oil pan will fit I think on their web site?

I use this cobra lettered pan, but i have a trickflow girdle with ARP bolts.
Where did you buy it from? It looks great - I also like your choice of engine paint. I'm really surprised a pan that deep (at the shallow end) clears the crossmember.

DSS does mean a late model pan, not an early model, stock pan. 83-89 pans fit best. The 90+ pans need to be massaged. There are a couple of Canton Pans that fit on Ebay or through DSS on early models. I dont know of any others off the top of my head.

Looks like I will buy the Moroso once I figure out which one of those pickups listed on Summit would be best. I like the "Cobra" pan but it's just a little too expensive. I have too many additional parts I need to buy to be spending extra on an oil pan.
