Which Plenums whistle/don't whistle???

Which one of the aftermarket plenums do not whistle? I'd rather not have a stang that sounds like "whistling Dixie."

My plenum doesn't whistle....then again I can't hear anything over my exhaust!

my dragon doesn't.. sometimes its the combo of a CAI and/or throttle body combined with the plenum that makes it whistle.

I don't own any aftermarket plenum/TB combo yet - I'm just trying to decide on which one is best. I'm inclined to go the cheaper route and get the C & L/BBK 75mm TB (you can get this combo shipped to my doorstep for $357 from Bros. Performance) but I recall some posts about how their car now has a whistling sound in the intake post-install of the plenum/TB.

Guess I can throw my concerns about the whistling plenum out the window. So now it's between the C & L Plenum/BBK 75mm TB or the Accufab Plenum/TB combo.

And there's nothing wrong with Dixie!

ITS NOT the plenum that whistles, its some aftermarket throttle bodies. The sound is audible at certin throttle angles as the air passes over the throttle plate normally at off idle positions. What you want to know is which TB's to avoid.

did you add the accufab and dragon at the same time? I have the dragon now and want to add an accufab 75mm.. good power feel? any low end loss? dyno?

When I put the C&L plenum on there was a whistle type noise. Now I recently added a Accufab 75mm tb and it seems the whistle is a bit louder - whistle occurs off idle when driving normal.

Is the noise really loud/irritating? It seems like the C & L whistles more than the Accufab combo. If it's really not that loud, I probably wouldn't car too much.

If it is whistling, you probably have a vacuum leak. Especially if it whistles more at throttle tip in. I had a 75mm BBK that whistled loudly. I installed a new gasket between the TB and the plenum and it was much quieter. I now have the accufab and a C&L plenum and there is no whistle at all.

Update

Installed the Accufab 70mm TB and Accufab Plenum - no whistling!!!
