Which plug gap with spray?

Just wanted to make sure you guys all think the same about this. My 94 cobra's stock plug gap is like .54 if I remember right, .32-.35 seems to be what everyone recommends. True or False? Just give me your thoughts. Also, will that drastic change in gap make my car run bad when I'm not on the bottle?

How big of a shot?

100-125 shot be at .035. You should also use plugs at LEAST one heat range colder than stock.

You will lose a couple of HP when you aren't spraying. It's all a trade off.

just a 75 shot... and yeah I decided to go one heat range cooler plugs, the Autolite 103's. Sooo?????

Well, it's hard to answer definitively without full knowledge (ie shot size).

With a 75 shot, I'd gap them at .040. .032 is WAY to small, and you don't need to go as low as .035 either. And one heat range colder should be perfect.

You also have to take into consideration what kind of ignition system you are running. This is a key component, especially when using a power adder.

I would recommend at the minimum upgrading your coil... MSD makes a nice piece call the Blaster 2 that a lot of peeps here run with great success. Its like 45 bucks from www.summitracing.com

Honestly, I think the stock ignition is probably fine for basic nitrous use. At levels up to a 125 you just aren't cramming enough fuel and nitrous into the combustion chamber for blow out to be a real issue, provided your plugs are gapped properly.

I run the coil you're talking about because I figure for $50, why not.

I run a tight .035 gap with my 125 shot 5.0 with aftermarket coil, wires, cap & rotor but stock dizzy.

Soo drop about .10 to .15? I was thinking .40 to. 45., that sounded like an decent gap to start with...
