Noooo that this question again J/K. This subject has been beaten to death on every mustang forum. There is no right answer, the debate over which is better Steeda tri-ax vs. pro50 vs any other has gone on for quite some time do a search and judge for your self that's why I vote Steeda
well, I HAVE used both on my stang, and I prefer the Pro 5.0... the steeta seemed a little "tinny" to me... it was solid, but it felt like a toy, the pro 5.0 felt very "heavy" and solid... not to mention, it's got a shorter throw
-either one now, both won't really bend under SEVERE strain... I bent my steeda handle, but they've since then revised their material usage.
I have the tri-ax.. it's a good shifter but unless something happens my next will be a Pro 5.0.. No problem with the steeda, just want to try something else, and like everyone else is saying, I'd take a second look at that MGW.. anyone know how much we're looking at $$$ wise?
it's a hella strong shifter, been in design for many years, and darn near perfected, just a couple of preferenes that make me not want it on my car (i'm very stubborn ) price is $175 plus shipping, like $8 I think... and the reviews, so far, are pretty freaking good... only a few preference things that the writers didn't care for, such as no angle in the shifter post, so it's stright up and down... unlike the pro5.0 and steeda
