I need to replace the springs on my wifes 90 Convertible. It is a stock 4cyl LX and at 140k miles. This is just a sunny day cruiser, we are not trying to make anything more out of it (I have a 65 coupe for that). They are better priced than the stock replacement springs from my local Ford dealer. However, they say they will lower the car 7/8" front and 1/2" rear. Will that be a problem driving on these nasty Michigan roads? I am hoping to end up with a good ride quality with the springs and sone KYB GR2 struts and shocks. Also, will I need to replace the isolaters as well?
I know this is the 5.0 forum, but it seems this is a universal question and more people are on here than on the 2.3.
