Is anybody running a strut tower brace with a Edelbrock RPM II intake on a 95? If so, what brand?

I took mine off and haven't been able to tell a difference

The Cobra's did not have em

I dont have a vert
and
I don't place a high importance on going around corners at max speed

Just a different way of thinking from my way

Mine didn't have one when I bought it, so I don't know how it would handle with one. I thought if I came across one for cheap I would pick it up and see. thanks

I took mine off also and noticed no difference in handling. I believe that unless you plan of auto crossing it at all then it is not necessary.

I had mine custom made by RNH Performance.

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

The Steeda one will clear just about any intake. The forward bar is bent forward to go around the front of the intake, so the height is no longer an issue.

my BBK clears the rpm 1 so i would think the rpm 2 wouldn't be a problem. it is also shaped to go in front of the intake.

I didn't have one for years and finally got this bbk and I didn't notice a difference in handling.

i have a steeda one in my basement. it is as revhead described with the bend to the front.

it doesn't clear my 410, so i can't use it (which is why it is sitting in the basement and not on the car).

if you want it, pm me and we can work something out.

Thanks for all the input, sounds like I should just leave it off and save the weight.

when i had coil overs, not having a STB made a big difference (to the negative). with the non coil over suspension (ie stock type), not having a STB is not very noticeable.

but as far as weight ... what, are you gutting it for weight? the thing weighs all of maybe 5 pounds.

U can tell ya this having a vert you can definatley feel the difference. Ill sometimes have things apart and take the car for a quick test rip I can feel it right away. the car is much tighter with it.
