Which supercharger should i go with. For now the car is being used for everyday driving until next october. I have a goal of 550-600rwhp set. I just want to get a blower i can use now ,and will be able to use to produce tha amount of hp!

What one would you recommend?

Do you plan on keeping the stock motor and just running a blower?? if you do i wouldnt recommend trying to run that kind of power on a stock block.. otherwise the KB 2.2 or 2.4 or whatever it is now will probably get you there. but i would also recommend cams, heads, exhaust etc.

Well if you're willing to invest the money then I'd say any supercharger will really get you there. Traction-wise I think a KB @ that power level would make 1st and 2nd gear basically useless whereas a centripetal blower like a paxton/vortech/procharger shouldn't make your tires break loose AS bad...it'll still probably happen though. If you don't care about the traction so much or have sticky enough tires then get a 2.6L KB w/ a completely forged rotating assembly and supporting fuel mods.

.....they all make blower kits that will get you there. You just need to decide which ones are in your price range and how you want to put the power to the pavement.

Paxton Novi 2000, KB 2.6H, or Procharger F1-R would be my suggestion for the power level you are looking for.

If I had it to do over again, I would have went with a KB 2.1L.

Nice kit, but you'd have to do it over again after that. 550-600rwhp isn't gonna happen with a 2.1L....at least not with pump gas and/or the aid of some nitrous.

Paxton Novi 2000 with the 8lb pulley will get you close to the 360-380hp mark depending on the mods. It's not as simple as throwing on a supercharger and getting back on the road. You will need to upgrade fuel pump, fuel injectors, mass air and definately need a tune! None of these items by the way is cheap, and you'll have to do them no matter what supercharger you buy. When upgrading the fuel system...just my $.02....buy the 03 cobra tank and pump set up...it will save you money and headache later. I tried to go with an aviator pump and it was not flowing as much fuel as what i needed. I have since ponyed up for the cobra set up.

You are on the money there. But it's soo worth it . I have never been in a centri blower car but the power down low with the KB is GREAT.
