I have my 65 mustang that im building(3000lbs+/-). And its come time to make a choice. I just got done mini tubing it. This car will be driven on the street 1-2 times a week and raced probably 12-15 times a year. Its going to have a 351-408 stroker with a C4 on 275/60/15 radial or 28x10 slick, Running the D-Gas 10.60index class. Later im adding a blower to run down in the 9's. So, now im to the Rear Suspension choices.. So, would you move the leaf springs inside the frame rail and run the mono-leafs with caltracs, or do a coil over ladder bar setup from chassis engineering? So basically, it needs at least Decent street manners. But i do understand that there will be trade-offs for the type of straightline performance im looking for.
