Well Killy actually I was going to say the same thing about you since you bought your cobra. If you notice iv only really been calling you down since you have bought the 03....IMHO you have become EXTREMELY self rightous and got a big head....your always getting called down on SVTperformance for your rude and/or opinionated comments. Its not just me. Its like your right and everyone else is wrong....all im doing is telling the truth and you dont like it.

Although i do not have a huge rep on this forum, i have only been here for a short period of time compared to both of you, but i have noticed the same thing

There is no excuse or justification for running DRs on a street car.

As for what y'all think of me I seriously could not care less

DRs are fine if you never really drive the car in the wet. I very very rarely drive the stang in wet weather, but at least its an option with the KDW2s.

I had Pilot Sports ($$$) and KDW1s and neither came close to the performance of the KDW2s. Best tires I have ever driven by so far. I cant believe the dry or wet traction.

Owning a car that is never driven in the rain and sees track time often would justify owning drag radials. Not everyone can afford a second set of rims/tires just for the track.

As for the OP, sounds to me like you don't go to the track enough to warrant DR's. The KDW's will hook just fine on the street and they'll have a longer life.

Most ppl are recommending the kdw2's but what size are most of you running 255/40 or 245/40 since they do not come in a 245/45

id think you could pull off a 265 on the rears........you could do 275 but that is over kill for an 8" rim imho.

Not sure what all the flaming is about here, but I personally have a suggestion for your tire choice.

I just bought 2 x 245's / front + 2 x 275's rear of my Mustang and they are outstanding. We just had 3 consecutive heavy downpours here in good ol' North Carolina and I can tell ya I didn't even have to slow down while driving in the rain. They have also provided excellent grip and stability while hitting the backroads, and I practiced launching with them and they again delivered impressive results. I am sure there are better tires out there, but they are a relative bargain IMHO.

no

In-and-Out Burger sucks dick and they take WAAAY too long to make a burger. the fries are terrible and "animal style" is the worst thing i've ever seen done to a burger OR fries. as if the stock burgers aren't sloppy enough with that gross sauce on 'em

i stand in line thinking of what to get. hmm, should i get a burger, the burger or the burger? F that i want a chicken sandwich sometimes. i'll drive 20 min. to a Fatburger, spend twice as much and drive past the 2 in-and-outs that are less than 5min. away from me doing it

Hell i'd rather eat at WHITE CASTLE

sorry about the rant but In-and-Out Burger is just a touchy subject with me what with all the people from california telling me over and over they're the best burger in the UNIVERSE, blah blah blah when they've never even heard about half the chains out there. on top of that whenever i go there's always a bunch on emo or skater highschool punks just hanging out there and i just want to stomp their dumbass throats in

ON TOP OF THAT....

i better stop and go have a smoke...

drag radials may hook better..but if you've got a mainly street car I suggest otherwise. A good sticky set of street tires (nitto 555's, bfg kdw's,etc.) will likely do you just fine and will last alot longer than dr's. I'm not saying don't buy dr's....if you're gonna put 'em on and go race then go for it, but for daily driving they aren't the most practical tires and you'll probably just get pissed off when you have to buy a new set of tires so quickly! Anyways, good luck!!
