I have an SCT Tuner with 3 tunes on it, I don't remember which tune I loaded last. Is there a way in the info for when it first connects does it tell you which of the 3 is loaded? Or do I just reload one of them again and write it down somewhere?
Just a question. Does anyone regularly change tunes back and forth? Like going from torque to performance/race? Or do most people just end up settling on one tune?
I stick with one tune...I used 87 performance and 87 gas mileage both for about a day and haven't used them since. 93 performance tune is the one I use from VMP
I typically run the 93 Torque bama tune and I think thats what I have but have run the race tune for 2 weeks and also have an 87 Tune. Ive looked through the menus and cannot find it, oh well Ill just reload the Torque again to make sure for daily driving. Tks.
I go back and forth between the 91 tq and 91 race. At the drag strip I have gotten the best times with the 91 tq. I think because it's easier to launch than the race tune. In reality the tq tune and race tune are the same thing. Doug just manipulates the throttle response in the race tune. Don't believe the hype that the race tune is better through out the power band. I dynoed the car with both tunes back to back and the dyno graph for each were the exact same.
