I have a 95GT with a 331 stroker. I would like to try and tune the car myself. I am not sure which one I want. I've read that The Tweecer RT is very good but difficult to figure out. How good is the PMS tuner? I really don't need anything crazy I just want my car to run good and idle fine. Its an all motor car and I don't plan on using nitrous or adding an boost.

A natural 331 should run fine without any tuner.
If it doesn't idle right, something is screwed up, it's nothing to do with the computer.

Error in the Load calculation due to the stroker, and a larger/calibrated MAF meter can cause some drivability issues. Add a cam into the mix, and supposedly the 94-95 ecus can get a little rough.
These ecus use the Load calculations more heavily than the Fox ecus...

Personally,
I prefer the tweecer rt, for 2 reasons.
1. cost - it is less expensive than a fully loaded PMS
2. It's what I have, so I'm comfortable with it

I'm sure you'll get a variety of experiences/opinions....

Take it somewhere and have it dyno tuned by someone that knows what they are doing.

Where do you live? I'm sure there is someone. I once trailered my car 6 hours one way to get it tuned. Was it worth it? Yep!

I live in CT. Theres a mustang place called xxtuning in CT. They will not tune obd1 cars anymore. Theres a few shops in CT that will do obd1 but they are mostly ricer shops that I do not trust.

Engine Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
