Which Upper/lower control arms are good.

Looking for some upper and lower control arms for my GT. Which are you using and do you like them. Also going to buy subframe connectors too, which ones are the best? Changing the shocks/struts to Bilsteins too. Please need advice. Thanks

Depends on the use of your car.
If it's street driven:
Lowers: Steeda al, EvM, or MM
Uppers: Stock, FRPP, or Steeda HD stock style.

Maximum motorsports.

You can not go wrong with thier products. they are a cut above everone else IMO.

minimums IMO. shocks&struts, springs, subframes, lower rear control arms. I would do this much to start and see what you think. I am very happy with the way my car handles now.

Do any if you notice the difference in shape in the upper control arms between the steeda and mm? Also which subframes?

I thought id be different and go with the chevy boys (BMR) and installed their double adjustable uppers/non adjust-lowers. The welds are top notch and overall equal in quality as anything else on the market in the price range...$400.00. Id still say MM, steeda are still very good.

Dont have any on my 98 yet, but on my 91 I ran HP Motorsports and they worked great, 1.60's 60ft on dragradials.

Before i went IRS.
I ran steeda hardcore lowers with steeda heavy duty double adjustable uppers.

Quiet on the street,they handle the drag strip with no issues.

They are about the best you can get for a street strip car.

what exactly are you looking to get out of them? Are you looking for the best ones you can buy so they will tremendously upgrade no matter the cost, or are you looking for something reasonable to upgrade the stock ones?

I'am changing the shocks and struts so I want to improve the suspension. I already have Eibach Sportlines. I dont want to spend no more than $500 on control arms and subframes. I don't want the cheapest or near stock but I don't think I need the adjustable ones. I want something good that you can put on and go.

well, take it for what its worth...I got some granatelli ones on ebay, uppers and lowers for under 200 bucks...they helped me drop .4 in my quarter mile time...

Granatellis are junk.

You might as well pick up some MM C/C plates while you at it, for those sportlines.

You like the Pro3i ones? I was thinking of getting those. What's wrong with the bushing that it comes with?

That was to the FRPP UCA ones, most kits don't come with the axle bushings so you have to buy them seperate

i've been looking at the steeda and Pro3i jacker LCAs. does the adjustable spring seat compensate for having lowering springs? i mean at the track, would raising them help with weight transfer, or would it still be sub-par compared to the stock springs?

i have a set of H&R sports in my room just waiting to be installed, but i wanna wait and do springs, shocks/struts, C/Cs, LCAs all at once. anyway, i went to the track for the first time two weeks ago and now im hooked. i want whats best for weight transfer and traction at the track, but i hate looking at my car and seeing the huge wheel well gap. im afraid the H&Rs will hurt too much at the track. so would the adjustable seat help at all? how much?
