Well I bought some low mileage stock fox body pistons/rods but they came seperated from each other. Can someone tell me which way the pistons need to go on the rods when pressing them back together? Also, anything I need to do or watch out for when pressing them back together? I plan to just put some motor oil on the pin and then press it in.

That isn't going to be enough. Most shops have to heat them up to get the pins in so I'd suggest having a shop do them for you and it shouldn't cost too much.
