Which would you reinstall first?

Car is on jackstands in the garage.... Rear end and Gas tank are out of it....
Which would you RE install first??

I’d install the rear end first. It probably does not make much difference except for the frog principle. It might give you more room for brake line work.

I agree, rear axle first, fuel tank later, just be sure you paint the tank vent valve the right color.

??? What color is the valve supposed to be?

Well they come from the factory white but it usually clashes with the carpet color.

Certainly would not want the car show judge with a flexible mirror checking it and finding it was incorrect..
