Is there anything to check like cylinder walls or pistons or anything?I did a leak down test prior to taking off the heads and had 4% or less on all cylinders. Also did compression test and was around 195-200 on all.So I am guessing rings and all are sealing ok.I sprayed some wd40 into the cylinders to keep from getting moisture or rust from forming while i wait for the weather to break to install my heads. The Wd 40 is still puddled in the cylinder walls after 4 days,so must be a pretty tight seal.

sounds like things are good to go....Im sure you can see plenty of cross-hatching on the cylinder walls? , this is a good thing.. do your self a favor and start cleaning up the deck surface...that graphites a B to remove, better than wtg til you have the heads and wanna pop em on....
