I have noteable whisling sound coming from TB area, I think I heard it most is back of my TB area, any one have any ideal ? vacum leak ? thanks

BTW I just start note it today !

I just dealt with this - it's likely your IAC gasket. Does the whistle wind down when you shut the car off? Does it more or less go away as you step on the gas?
Here's my story - I tried installing one of those IAC restrictor plates, but it didn't work. When I was removing the IAC, the OEM gasket ripped. I made a gasket from paper gasket material and used BOTH the OEM gasket and the one I made - and it whistled like a mutha.

every thing you say is right :nice:, but when I spay carb cleaner at the IAC the noise do not go away. but put my ear on the IAC and the sound is not coming out from their, I heard loud on on the passenger side top of the plug, where the air conditioning thing is.

just back from the garage, I did take out IAC and the whole TB and put some black rtv on the gasket, clean IAC, check all the hose, put everything back together, car ran and idle perfect, but that god dam whisling sound still their, **** IT !!!!

Theres a good chance you'll never find it LOl.. i had the same problem.. it got even worse on hills with slight load on the engine. I just got a exhaust loud enough to drown it out.

I'm still betting it's a vaccum leak though.

do they selling dye color to check leak for vaccum leak, like how they did it to coolant leak. like after you put some color in the vaccum hose, then wear a special glass so you can see the color and know where it leak from. that would be cool !

No, but they do sell a machine that injects smoke through the vaccum lines..if you have a leaking line or open line, you'll see smoke come out of it..you'll probably have to take it to a shop.
all depends on how much this is bothering you
