Weird question: I have a 93 LX 5.0, with a V-1 Vortech Supercharger on it. I have an oil separator in between the PCV valve and the intake for blow by. The last 500 miles I have noticed that there is white junk, almost sap like substance in the catch can. What is this????? Smells a bit like gasoline. Could I be running too rich?????? Engine runs great....

My jeep does this sometimes when there is a lot of moisture outside. I guess its like condensation or something. Has it been raining a lot or anything there? Not saying that is what it is but it sounds like the same thing I have at times.

If it is constant then it could be a that you lifted a head gasket.
Drain the oil ASAP and see if there is coolant in there, if you have a blown gasket, coolant in the oil will contaminate it really fast. As far as it smelling like gas, if your rings are worn it could be letting gas get into the oil also

You can also develope condensation if you drive the car on short trips and dont let if completly warm up.
