white smoke from pipes

if you get alot of white smoke from your pipes that would be the heads right?

Are you losing coolant? What does your oil look like? Milky?

coolant wasn't able to check, i was stupid and panic and took the cap off when it was hot so the coolant came out. oil looks normal but feels milky or thick. plugs look ok

are you sure its not light blue? you could be burning oil?

If your oil is black, or normal looking, don't worry. You can also check your coolant (look in the overflow tank) for oil. Very obvious; will look like nasty foamy brown crap, or you'll see dark streaks in the coolant. When are you getting white smoke? If it's when the engine is cold, it's totally normal.

Yes. Normally that would be a blown head gasket. It doesn't go away once it starts until all the coolant is gone and the head gets warped. Then you're screwed.

yea my coolant had brown foam crap took the top end off and think for sure head gasket is bad lol thx guys oh and the bottom bolts on the cyl head the ones closest to the firewall when you take them off is coolant spose to come out???

You have warped heads get them off and to a machine shop and get yourself a top end gasket kit and get to work. Do not forget to change your oil like twice afterwards coolant is hell on bearings!!!!!
