i recently took out my power steering, ac and i got a electric water pump and im going to take out my smog pump soon.

How can i go about doing this?

my idea is to have the crank, alternator, and have a smog pump eliminator pulley and get a pro 50 alternator tensioner bracket. will this work and have the belt go around and work?


Does anyone have this setup?

I need pictures to really help me.

another ? i have is do i need to have a smog pump eliminator pulley or can i just completely remove that and do just crank and alternator

I know a few people who just run alt and crank. Of course it is a PITA to get the belt on. He had to loosen the alt, and crank the motor to let the belt "ride" onto the pulley.

Does your E-water pump have a dummy pulley that can spin in either direction??
