I like to call it my Granny Crusier it does just fine for humiliating ricers, hopefully in front of their girlfriends. Hell if I loose I can just pull them over with the wig wag lights leftover from its service years. Show them whats up...right before I go to jail I guess.

Its a little dirty, but thats how I know I am not just another wheel shinning yuppie.

Now a couple of these Impalas from my old car club could send LS1 drivers home it tears.

I look pretty stock till you hear the whine of my supercharger... And maybe my Eagle F1s might give me away too.

At the 2006 Hot Rod magazine pump gas drags Kurt Urban director of operations piloted the super sleeper Nova to a best et to date at 9.680 @ 146.91 mph with plenty left in the car once some bugs are worked out.

that reminds me of the first rule of street racing*, never race a primer gray Chevelle

*BTW street racing is bad, especially in the form it's currently practiced in...what happened to the good old days why 2 guys meet at the burger joint then drove out to the middle of nowhere and went at it with next to nobody around???...opps sorry for the mini-rant

Not a 4.6, but my 91' has stock rims, tire size, stock hood, convertable, aod, no visible aftermarket gauges, even has the ugly luggage rack on the trunk still. But, under the hood is trickflow heads and stage 1 cam. All the bolt ons, and the mother of all bolt ons my custom twin turbo kit! Freaks people out when I open the hood at the cruise in or a show. I usually don't open it anymore, I like people thinking it's a 15 sec. aod convertable turd. No times yet, but the stock size tires gotta go! Going to the track oct 15th. Looks absolutely bone stock, but will completely rape my 02' 5 speed that actually is bone stock.
