Everybody who doesn't have a BBK/Edelbrock TB has one that doesn't whistle.

I haven't installed my 75mm accufab yet to know for sure. My 70mm BBK whistles. My old 70mm accufab didn't whistle on previous car.

I was on the phone with an AM salesman and he admitted the LRS and American Muscle both use the same production facilities in China, haha.. I'd say almost for certain you're in the clear..

I too am running an Accufab throttle body (70mm) and no whistle. They're a little more expensive than most, but hands down the best made throttle body available for our cars. Once piece billet, machined to perfection and polished to a mirror shine.

I had a BBK 75mm on my 4.6L a few years back....and really couldn't tell you if it whistled or not, because the sound of my blower wailing away on top of my engine would have drowned it out anyway.

My BBK 65mm has a slight whistle if you blip the throttle just right.. other than that it's alright.

Every BBK TB I've seen whistles- including my 70MM on my car.

I've only ever had one throttle body that whistled. If I recall correctly it was a summit brand. I spent some time smoothing the edges of the throttle plate, as well as smoothing the courts for the IAC. once I did that, the whistling went away.

The BBK that is on my car right now does not whistle at all, and never has. My car idles at about 700 rpm.

My old bbk 65mm on my first fox whistled bad. It was more amusing then annoying. My buddies and I had a good time making it make different pitched whistles.

With that said, it would drive me bonkers now.
