Who Has A 75mm Throttle Body That Dosnt Whistle?!

The funny thing is Mine never whistled until i had a surging problem and re-adjusted a few things...i think my idle is higher now so that might contribute to the Whistle...

.680 lift solid roller, 140cc heads, 7500rpm shift point... that's where it likes it.

Then i wonder if thats why it is whistling? high rpm.

Not sure I understand? My Accufab does not whistle.

It was for the original Poster he said if he lowers it the whistle goes away I said maybe his idle is to high...I notice mine did it after I re-adjusted my idle after surging issues...

LOL....I wish the turbo is pretty quiet actually you will hear it when in high boost but normal driving you don't hear anything but my LOUD bbk TB....lol

i went from a whistling 65mm bbk, to a 70mm accufab that makes a very loud swooshing sound when you stab it. but no one is asking if i have a turbo anymore, lol.

I had a 65mm that always whistled. I have a 75mm now and it whistles too. I always thought that was just the nature of the larger TB's. I've just learned to live with it.

i was ok with it at first,but it gets on my nerves now,not a panic,i just read it can be fixed but it didnt work for me....if it was a superchargher wine i would love it!?!

Yup, 75mm iirc. Whistles all day long. Has since new.

The Accufabs sure look nice, but I'm not sure that mechanically they are really any better built than the BBKs, et al. The Accufab IAC ports are just machined differently (at least my 90mm unit's are), which I think helps mitigate the whistle.
