Get a storage bin. They came with Mustangs that didn't come from the factory with a CD player. Look on eBay or for someone parting out a stang.

For about a year, I left the factory CD player in its place so I wouldn't have an ugly hole (just an ugly CD player).

I was gonna put gauges there, but I decided that I didn't want to be looking down that far away from the road to periodically check them.

I finally went to a boneyard in the spring and bought a tray from a SHO Taurus that fit fine for the sum of $2.
