Who has locked timing?

I have locked timing on my setup and my results are in my sig. Anyone else run locked timing? What's the Positive and negative sides?

Does locked mean you removed the vacuum only, or removed the vacuum advance and locked the mechanical advance?

The downside is that with enough timing to run well, say 30-36 deg, it will be very hard to crank.

I removed the vacuum advance, left the mechanical and set it up with 34 total with very light springs.
