Who Has The Fastest Car On Stangnet????

I got you by .11 sucka! LOL

I ran 11.64 but had a ****ty trap speed because I had to let off at the 1000' mark because I was hitting the rev limiter due to my 4.10s so I only trapped 111 mph.

As soon as the car gets fixed Im building up the tranny and putting 3.73s or 3.55s in. The stall was slipping on the dyno, which is where I was coming home from when I wrecked. :( I know the car is much faster with the new tune, with the 60 miles I got to drive it, so I know I wont have any problem cutting 11.5-11.4s. Plus with a built tranny and 3000 stall my times should be a little lower, then Im adding a 50 dry shot nitrous.

CAN YOU SAY 10s? :D

:rlaugh: yea I seen it in your sig and it has been killing me :D Awsome time, especially for letting out @ the 1000...but I dont think that effects ET much. I tried to hit 5th on ONE run and ran a 12.3 @ 113. Vs with about the same 60 I was running 12.2s to 12.3s @ 120 when crossing in 4th. Then a string of 12.0s all @ 120 LOL. I was mad...but I had to relearn how to drive the car....not to mention I hadnt to basically get my grove back on my shifting( no powershifting)....I felt slow at first. Then FINALLY agains a ported/pullied cobra I pulled off a 11.79 @ 122 and wasted him. Hot lapped 2 more times and busted the 11.75. Heh im just glad I didnt break anything!
I dont think ill be going back for a LONG time....so for now you win :D But your day will come :flag: :D

Well he may put up the biggest dyno #s...but last time he ran 13s with 420+RWHP so  . :rlaugh:

Sorry Gary, couldnt help it :D . Your car will be freegin bad when its done!

Im thinking another week and he will be posting up some dyno #s.

Oh and in FULL street trim (if you classified like that) I probably hold my own pretty well. 11.75 @ 122.

lol yeah I suck in drag racing.

Hopefully my car be 100% done and ready the next weekend. The car has already gone through a few delays.

Tim's red KB 2.8H GT made 919rwhp (something like that) so I'm betting his would be the highest hp one I know of. Mine won't be close to that. Probably high 600s-low 700s.

As far as ET is concerned, Jim Fitz is the fastest I'm aware of.

Of course there could be that one unknown member with 0 posts who has a 1000+rwhp turbo stang that runs 8s.

The thing is your still running on stock block aren't you? If so, that’s smokin’ for a stock motor car.

I know my ET won’t change much or at all but I know my Trap Speed is WAY off letting off at the 1000' mark. I just can’t wait to get her back and running to see how much my new Tune helped out because I could definitely feel a difference, the 60 miles I got to drive it before we wrecked. I just want to have a 10 second DD (except in rain :notnice: ) so as soon as I reach my goal I’ll call it quits and just drive it. I’m already getting harassed at the track for not having a drive shaft loop and they already warned me if I break 11.50 I need a cage. So, my plan is to build her up strong get my 10 sec run in, get kicked out of the track, and enjoy my car. LOL

Mine won't be too far off. My best et is 12.2 @ 117. That unfortunately for you all was @ 5800ft. Go to Mod depot and plug your slip numbers in the ET calculator and see what you get. You need barometric pressure, temp, and corrected altitude. Can't just compared times or trap, you gotta compare Apples to Apples.

To compare Apples to Apples it sounds like everyone would need to run their numbers trough this. This sounds like it adjusting the ET to a standard day much like a dyno correction factor does. The problem is most of the runs list I am sure were not run under those conditions.

Yes sir, stock shortblock with cams and a windage trey being the only internal mods. :flag: . Yea your trap would be crazy if you had went all the way....and now after your power boost, you shouldnt have trouble going < 11.5 with the same 60'.

Both of us are capapble of 10s, thats for sure...its all about that 60' :nice: . But yours is going to get there a heck of alot easier than mine. More power and a stalled auto> me. (BTW watch out for those new C6 Z06 vettes...I just got walked by one LOL (said it was stock). VERY VERY slowly I might add but he was creeping by me. From my rear bumper to even with me...85-120)

Does a member who only joined here to ask about 07 gt's count..

firstandgoal is the member name of a guy I have personally seen run 9's without even maximizing his cars potential..

The car was a 1994 Z28 with a 400+ cubic inch lt-1 with a cog belt d series pro charger on it. This car had some really cool stuff on it too.. sadly it was recently parted out to build another project.

My all motor 2v runs 8s with only 232rwhp and 274rwtq.

thats 1/8th mile though :rlaugh:

I'm not surprised that Jim retired his car as a daily driver. With that monster stall and GIGANTIC KB blower he was getting something like 6 mpg I think.

The guy has come so far. I remember his threads WAY back when, when that car was first getting going. It was blue back then. Different car?

my 2001 GT made 751/634 and so far the best i could manage on the 18" DR's was a 11.65 @125 on a crappy 2.0 60 ft

it's got more left in it. i almost forgot to add that run was on the pump gas tune 612/539. hopefully it will go into the 10's on the race tune
