So looking at getting accufab (mild steel ceramic coated as they dont offer stainless) mid length headers (to keep my ground clearance as good as possible since im lowered quite a bit) and i want to get a stainless mid pipe and mufflers. I have 0 performance or muffler shops by me at all and the only one i found wont work on my car bc i dont run cats. (And i dont plan to idc how little they affect performance etc) so was thinking of getting a universal x from spintech and mocking up the pieces then taking them to a place i know can weld stainless. I want v bands and cutouts welded in as well. I dont have a welder to tack weld etc but would mock it up and mark everything for orientation etc. Is this a stupid idea? Will i need custom bends to make this work properly? Since its 3" i want it to be as tight a fit as possible and at a loss as to how to tackle this.
