I've been through the pages of "nicest mustangs" threads and I've seen just tons of nice rides....but majority were just 'nice' looking stangs. Question is who's cars are considered standouts by the majority here? And why?
Reason I ask is I wonder what it is about certain cars that make them stand out...is it the wheels? color? chrome stuff? Power adders? etc. Just curious what the general consensus is that makes certain cars so popular. I know what I like and why, but I wonder about other peoples thoughts on this topic.

I don't think you'll get a straight answer on this one.....too many people might be upset by the answer, not to mention there's just too many nice cars to sort through and pick just one.

Expensive components and clean installations/work. Like having monster brakes and coilovers behind chrome 5 lug 18s, with the entire underside of the car clean enough to eat off of.

Top 3 right there!

I don't have pics of all their cars, I'll see if I can find some, but the attention to detail looks amazing and no part of the cars were left untouched!

I hope they don't mind me posting pics...

You trying to get your car in a mag? haha. I personally think in order for you to stand out, you gotta have a car that isn't like everbody elses... Can't have the normal GT with a cobra intake and exhaust and 17 inch cobra rims. Like another guy said, you gotta have a nice clean car. You gotta have money it in and the craftsman ship has to be nice. Most likely you'll need big numbers, big brakes, clean engine bay( not necessarily chrome though), clean striaght body, clean interior and stuff like that. Different and unique parts, or something you usually don't see. And once you have your car up to par, you can't drive it anymore cause your scared of what might happen when your following that semi down the road ha.

The three posted are top notch... Stang22 comes to mind, as does a few others that look amazing. There is a lot more too it than nice wheels, paint and such, the whole package has to be done well and done right.

Okay...I realize this is just one opinion. But for some reason, this is the most flattered about a post to a thread, I have ever been. Thanks a million. Mentioned among two of the 'Fox Greats'. LOL....

I could name a few more (no pics on my home PC, though)...

-25th
-Almost Stock
-Tunedin302

Again, these cars would be considered among my favorites due to their attention to detail and creative touch. Almost Stock is a pioneer of smoothing engine bays and hiding wiring. 25th has one of the most recognized cars in the bunch. Kudos to him for taking a chance at being different, going with it and succeeding incredibly well. The car looks outstanding. We've had our discussions about being our own worst critic lately.....Brian, you've got nothing to worry about. None of us are ever 100% completely happy. LOL. Tunedin...Last, but certainly not least would speak for itself if someone were to post pics. LOL. That car is outstanding.

Thanks again for including me in the bunch. Flattering.

Everyone listed so far are my personal favorites as far as completely worked over cars. I have my preferences for less-modified cars too, though, I'm not bias There are many that have a great (insert area here) but aren't on par on the rest of the car. Nothing against that or them of course but the guys above have one ridiculous area...and then match it with the rest of the car. It's insane to see some of these cars in person. Half of the guys/cars named so far are those that I completely admire in every sense. And just like Jeff said it's definitely flattering to be named with them.

All those cars shown are incredible!!! Don't know some of the ones mentioned, but I do know the ones pictured above, especially the two canadain cars. Bottlefed has been on our local mustang site...his car is SO NICE!! We have a local member here that is a regular on stangnet DMAN302 I have seen his in person and it's right up there on my wish list if I could spend that kind of time and effort, oh yeah and money on my car. .
You guys really build nice cars, I hope my taste works out as well in the end.

I can change those by laying on the ground, reaching up into the fender well, and being on my way.

D.....How the hell could I (we) forget D???

There are lots of clean cars on this site. It all depends on what you're after. Custom or clean? Possibly a bit of each? I know a handful of cars that aren't necessarily custom. Just extremely clean. If I were to add another to my garage, that'd be the direction I'd go next time. Don't regret the path I took with BOTTLFED....Just something different. That's all.
