they are 4600+ for my 02 model, too much money for a ugly supercharger. I am saving for vortech and can get it from supercharger4less under $ 3000.00

That's a picture of my under hood area....and yes, I painted the lid satin black to give it more of a factory look. The kit utilizes an Eaton blower, not a twin screw but don't worry....it still rocks just the same.

Keep in mind though, this is an underhood shot of a Mercury Cougar, not a Mustang, so it'll look a little bit different in your car.

That's the price you pay for a Positive Displacement and intercooled Supercharger my friend. It's actually one of the less expensive units on the market.

And ugly??? (reaches for the ban stick ) I guess it all depends on your point of view. I think it looks a heck of a lot better than the cheezy plastic intake manifold Ford originally left us.

I'm still leaning toward the procharger kit. I just love the look of your kit. SO clean.

A lot of custom work went into that kit. I made the intake pipe from scratch, because after all of my inlet upgrades, the one that came with the kit didn't fit. I also upgraded the entire aftercooling system, getting rid of that little glorified "pop can" reservoir that came with the kit and went with a 3-galon polymer tank. My goal when I put it together was to make it the way Allen should have made it…..and still keep the factory appearance. To tell you the truth, I’d just finished putting it together at that point, so the under hood area was still a little grimy, but hanks for the compliment regardless though.

You won’t go wrong with the Procharger either though. Plenty of power to be had and an even easier installation than what I went though.

you have any dyno numbers? Are you using the Allen tune with 30lb/injectors?

No, no numbers as of yet. I just finished with the car about a month and a half ago and we're just coming out of winter here right now. I'll be tuning it up as soon as the weather clears up though. I'd expect somewhere between 360-370rwhp out of it. Not bad when you consider the additional drivetrain loss I experience pushing the power thought both an Automatic Transmission and and Independant Rear Suspension. A standard solid axle Mustang would likely see about another 6-8% gain over that. It's still got more than enough jam to blow the tires off from a 70km/hr roll though. Which isn't bad when you consider the car without driver tips the scales at nearly 3,900lbs.

I went with a custom tune though Blue Oval Chips using an XCal2. I also ditched the standard 30lb/hr squirters for a set of 36lb/hr units. They should suply more than enough fuel for the needs of this blower. The rest of my modifications can be found in "My Garage" underneath my screen name.

I had a '70 Ford Galaxie with a 390 in it. It was longer than I can measure and at least seven feet wide. It hit the scale at 4300 with full gas, full equipment, and me in it. My GT with me in it, all equipment, and half tank was like 3650. It is half the size of the that Galaxie. Those syrofoam bumpers don't weigh that much.

Not sure if you're refuting my weight claim or not, but if so, keep in mind that my car is a full size MN12 Mercury Cougar, not an SN95 Mustang.
