I own a '89 4 cyl, and im kinda at a crossroads, there's a '79 LTD with a 302 and C-4 auto with a 9" rear end for $400, (the engine and tranny run good, i've heard them run), or i can buy a 460 with a auto tranny (dont know what type auto it is), that came out of a '79 Lincoln (the guy said the car fell/rusted apart around the motor, that's why it got pulled out). i know the 302's better balanced and more ideal for cornering than the 460, but i like the huge-cubic-inch idea as well. anywho, my question is: Who makes the 460 Conversion kit for the Fox body Mustang? and also how much does it cost?

Summit racing catalog has some starting around 600 ish for Hooker headers, motor mounts and a decent oil pan and pickup. Holcomb motorsports also has them

I just bought a 89 4cylinder hatch. I've been debating this same swap for over a week now. So far summit's prices are by far the cheapest. Holcomb Motorsports also has some pretty good prices. Bigger is better right hehe. No replacement for displacement.
